This year, even though the Make My Day festival of creativity on Morecambe’s beautiful promenade can’t take place - organisers want people to join them on Sunday, August 9, 1pm-3pm by hosting their own mini festival at home.

Head over to www.makemyday.org.uk/make-your-own to discover a host of fun, simple and inventive making activities complete with easy to follow instructions and step-by-step videos.

Festival organiser Beki Melrose, said: “We’ve worked hard to make sure that creativity and community spirit can carry on in these uncertain times. We hope that people, homes and streets from all around the world will join in to widen the boundaries and possibilities of what our festival can be.”
