The development in Leyland, on land purchased from Homes England is forecast to be fully completed within a timeframe of 36 months.

Altcar Lane will form one of a number of national risk sharing projects under the Government’s Accelerated Construction initiative. New homes will be built at double the monthly rate for this area, with the proposal also embracing innovative approaches to development.

Modern methods of construction will see the use of a closed panel, pre-insulated, timber frame system and pre-formed floor and roof cassettes to make the installation more efficient and realise time savings.

Lovell will create 140 homes for open market sale and 60 affordable homes through Lovell’s partner Together Housing Group .
