The festival will be held over Friday to Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The Garstang Beer and Gin Festival will be held for the fourth time in the town proving a popular event to bring people from all over to the area.

The Sunday will be family friendly during the day with plenty of space for kids to play as the local cricket field turns into the biggest beer garden throughout north Preston.

Organiser of the event, Ian Walling said: “This will be the fourth time we have held the event, with the first being in 2018. The event has grown year and last year over 1,000 people attended over the weekend.”

When is the event?

There will be multiple events held across the weekend, to break this down to the main line-up visitors should expect:

Friday 26, 6.30pm - Midnight– is a Comedy Night.

Where attendees are invited to graze on a selection of seasonal sharing platters whilst comedians Billy Flywheel & Lea Roberts ‘tickle your wicket’ with an evening of laid-back laughs at the event.

Saturday 27, 1pm - Midnight – will be the prime Hospitality Day.

Visitors can watch on their local cricket teams as Garstang 1st XI v Leyland1st XI play in front of you, followed by live music from the Flatlanders and a two course meal served from 4pm.

Sunday 28, 1pm - 11.15pm – Bank Holiday Blow Out.

The weekend finale will include a Ladies Softball Festival, followed with live music from Dara Woods, Michael Thompson, Si Bentham & Johnny Rox and Boogie Nights Roadshow with Tony Greenwood.

Where is the event?

You can expect to find the Beer and Gin festival inside a marquee at Garstang Cricket Club over the August bank holiday weekend from Friday 26 – Sunday 28 August. The club is located next to High Street car park which postcode is PR3 1EB, it is also across from Garstang District and Arts Centre.

Do you need to buy tickets?

Tickets for each event can be bought online at www.garstangbeerfestival.co.uk. Tickets for Friday and Saturday can only be bought online and cannot be purchased on the day as it is required for the show to order the food for these events in advance. Tickets for the Sunday can be purchased online or on the day. However tickets are encouraged for anyone wanting to come to the festival, as the event does hold a maximum capacity, so it is advised to purchase online in advance to avoid potential disappointment.

Under 18s do not require a ticket however must be accompanied by an adult. People are also invited to bring their dogs but they must be kept on a lead. There will be food available to purchase on the day as well.

What drinks will be on offer?

There will be a wide selection of drinks on offer throughout the bank holiday weekend, local breweries such as Bowland Brewery and Rivington Brewery will provide a rang of beers for attendees. A full list of drinks can be found HERE
