Hide AdAlfie Moore, an original and distinctive comedian with the unique selling point of once being a serving police officer came to comedy later in life than most established stand-ups.
He shares a wealth of insights and funny moments from his 18 years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival.
Born and raised on a council estate in Sheffield he was an apprentice in the steelworks before joining the police where he has served for nearly two decades, gathering plenty of hilarious stories.
A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Alfie debuted his new stand-up show The Naked Stun in 2014 where it was a sell-out for the full festival run. He has also supported Sarah Millican, Russell Kane and Milton Jones on their national comedy tours.
