Game review: Battlefield 4
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the single player campaign. It’s short and dull clocking around 6 hours and the spectacular set pieces it offers are far and few between. Players control Sgt Daniel Recker and his squad who find themselves caught up in a war between the US and China. He isn’t afraid to break a few rules, not only for survival but in effort to tip the scale of the war. It’s not the next gen campaign we were to expect and it’s easy to see where the main focus was developing this game.
“Commander Mode” returns from BF2 which gives players control of their squad from an overhead perspective in an RTS gameplay style. It’s a nice change of scenery from the main gameplay and will attract the RTS fan boys but the interest won’t last long.

Hide AdBattlefield 4 retains its top notch multiplayer with new weapons, modes, maps, vehicles and a spectacular fully destructible environment. The map changing events are superb to watch and even better to set off in motion. The single player however leaves a lot to be desired, dull, slow and short but the graphics are beautiful.
