Preston to face Salford City and Tranmere Rovers in pre-season
The match will see North End reunited with two former Lilywhites legends - Graham Alexander and Tom Clarke.
Alexander played more than 400 games for PNE in two spells before enjoying a stint as the club's caretaker manager alongside David Unsworth during the 2011-12 season.

Clarke, who like Alexander skippered North End, left Deepdale in the summer and subsequently joined Salford.
Arriving in 2013, he helped North End win promotion from League One in 2015, when they defeated Swindon 4-0 in the play-off final at Wembley, and then helped establish the club in the Championship.
On Tuesday, North End face more League Two opposition in the shape of Tranmere Rovers.
