Preston North End manager still wants two in before the end of the transfer window but will be happy either way

Lowe has been open about what he has wanted this summer, namely, and at least wing backs for both sides, goalkeepers and two strikers.
So far he has signed two wing backs for the left side, two goalkeepers, a striker and a midfielder.

Hide AdHe still requires a right wing back and another forward but getting those final two pieces of the puzzle in place has proved difficult.
Outgoings would help his cause, with Matt Olosunde and Josh Harrop transfer listed, though there has been little movement on that front, with Harrop now training on his own away from the group.
The PNE boss has been clear that he still wants a right wing back in, to give competition and respite to Brad Potts, as well as a forward who can create something out of nothing.
If Lowe does not get those two sorts of players in however, he would still be happy with the business done so far.

"The way we go about our business is the right way. I think we've had some shrewd signings. The recruitment side of things is fantastic and how we've gone about it.
"Yeah, we'd love a couple more but we can't kick our toys out of the pram if that doesn't happen.
"If the window shut tomorrow and I had the group I have I'd be over the moon. They have that unity and togetherness, it's important for where we're going to try and get to.

There is only around a week left of the transfer window this summer, meaning the time that PNE have to get their transfers sorted is winding down.
For some clubs it is a big week to get their business done, but not for Lowe.
Lowe is happy to work with what he’s got, and improve them himself if needs be, as the season progresses.

Hide AdHe said: “We're not sitting here saying we desperately need this or that. We have a squad of 21 players when everyone is fit and then that is backed up by the youngsters.
"There are a lot of teams out there that would like a lot of players, some saying they need wholesale changes, we don't need that at all.
"We just have to get on with it and do what we can with the group we've got because they're all coachable, they're all good players, coachable and chomping at the bit to get an opportunity.
"I'm quite relaxed over it, I don't want to see it is a big week or it isn't. If there's something there to be done that suits then fine, if not then we'll get on with it.”
