South Ribble elections halted for VE tribute
The election count at South Ribble Council halted for a two-minute silence at 3pm.
Today marks 70 years since Victory in Europe, VE Day, when World War Two came to an end.
Leyland’s Civic Centre honoured the national two-minute silence, before continuing with the count and announcing the election results.
