REGIONAL: "Unconscious" diver pulled from water in the Lake District
Emergency services are on the scene in the Lake District after reports of a diver who had failed to resurface.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), as well as the Belfast Coastguard, are leading the operation at Wastwater to the west of Lake Winderemere.
A spokesman for NWAS said: "We got called at 11:49am this morning. A diver has been pulled from the water and he is unconscious."
They added that an air ambulance is on the scene where he is still being treated.
