A 30-year-old man has been charged stalking a woman which included watching her from the woods.

Marlon Alexander John, 30, of Castle Mount, Fulwood, is accused of purposely damaging a wing mirror on a Ford Fiesta to the value of £50 belonging to Hayley Fisher on May 1 this year. He is also accused of between April 29 and May 1 of this year making numerous phone calls and emails to her, watching her from the woods and running at her, which amounted to stalking and causing her serious distress which had a substantial adverse effect on her daily activities.

At a previous hearing at Preston Magistrates Court on May 2, he entered a plea of not guilty on all charges. He has been remanded on conditional bail until Monday, June 26. His bail conditions include not to contact directly or indirectly Hayley Fisher, not to enter Larches Lane in Preston, to live and sleep each night at Castle Mount and to be electronically monitored with a GPS tag.
