A 29-year-old man has been charged with coercive and controlling behaviour towards his now ex partner.
Stuart Jordan Gabbott, of Newlyn Place, Ingol, is accused of continuous behaviour which was controlling or coercive to his partner at the time Joanne Dickinson, between January 1 and April 30 this year. He is accused of controlling the use of mobile devices and controlling her whereabouts and who she could speak with, which had a serious effect on her.
At a previous hearing at Preston Magistrates Court on May 2, he entered a plea of not guilty. An application for bail was refused and he has been remanded in custody. His next court hearing will be at Preston Magistrates Court on May 23.
