Jeremy’s show is simply child’s play
Baxter Life Care has been hired to look after the children of families taking part in the notorious TV show, Jeremy Kyle, amongst others filmed at the studios in Manchester.
The deal is a major coup for the Bispham firm founded by husband and wife duo Bev and Dean Baxter.

Hide AdBev, who admits to being a secret fan of the lively programme, said: “We have just won a contract to supply child care practitioners to ITV to look after any children that are on shows such as Jeremy Kyle, well their parents are.
“We will also be looking after child actors and have already recruited 24 staff and appointed a children’s services manager, Debbie Webster.
“It is only day one but things are going really well. It is very exciting,”
“And there could be even more work as they are looking to do a lot more shows. The potential is huge for a company like ours only 18 months old”

Baxter Life Care was one of the new start companies given a helping hand from Blackpool Council’s Get Started team, which aims to encourage people to set up their own business in the resort, and in just 12 months has grown to employ more than 30 people in the Blackpool area, including four ex-service personnel.
It provides health and social care for individuals and organisations across Lancashire and this year won the national ERSA Employability Award for the SME Employer of the Year for the way it trains and develops its staff.
As a result of that Bev and Dean, have been asked to go to the House of Lords this month to talk about their approach.

She said: “Geoff Reeves and Kris Wilson at Get Started have been inspirational.
“The programme offers training, courses and advice and I would recommend it to anyone.
“The best thing is that you can call them up afterwards for advice and if they don’t know the answer they know someone who does.”
