Chorley driver gets mandatory road ban after reoffending following drug driving conviction

Joshua Reeder, 27, of Longfield Avenue, Coppull, Chorley, fell foul of sentencing rules which stipulate a minimum three year ban for people who have a similar offence within the previous ten years.
Preston Magistrates' Court was told on August 19 Reeder, who was driving an Audi A4, was seen indicating to make a turn before accelerating straight on, and was followed by police on Springfield Road.
He said he was driving his brother home.

Hide AdProsecuting, Diane Jackosn said: " The police felt his driving was poor and illuminated their lights."
He was found to have 51mg of alcohol in his breath - the limit is 35mg.
Addressing magistrates he said: " I've done what I've done and I'm very, very sorry for doing it.
He was given a £400 fine, £40 surcharge and £85 costs.
