New Starbucks drive-thru takes shape in Preston
The new drive-thru, situated on the eastern edge of the Morrisons car park in Mariner's Way - opposite DFS - was granted planning permission in February 2019.
Construction of the 1,800 sq ft coffee shop has been progressing well during lockdown and its skeleton has now been erected.

Hide Ad- Planning documents state that the new Starbucks will provide 15 jobs, with a mix of full-time and part-time positions.
- It will open between 5.30am and 11pm, seven days a week.
- Morrisons is the franchisee and first submitted its application for planning permission to Preston City Council in October 2018.
When will it open?
Starbucks and Morrisons are remaining tight-lipped about the new drive-thru and have declined to comment on its opening date.
But the swift progress of construction at the site suggests that work on the new drive-thru is likely to be completed sometime this summer.
