The group owns and manages almost 11,000 homes, mainly across the North West, and is one of the largest providers of supported living in the country, providing accommodation for people with learning disabilities and/or autism UK-wide.
Over the next five years, the group is investing significantly in developing affordable homes, pledging to build 1,000 new ones and focusing on social rent homes to help people who are least able to find homes on the open market.
Nigel replaces Janet Hale, who has served as group chair for the past nine years. Yasmin Fearon, who has worked for the regulator and Homes England and has 30 years’ experience in the social housing sector, joins as deputy group chair.
