Train journey’s the inspration
It was one of those coming of age moments, about an 18-year-old lost and confused by a letter she had picked up.
The work became the inspiration for Southworth to write a play helped by artistic director Sam Buist, from the city’s Korova Arts Café Bar.

Hide AdAn initial performance was given at the 2012 Preston Tringe Festival.
Since then Southworth has been developing the piece as part of Korova’s Hatch programme, with mentoring from Rob Johnston, winner of the King’s Cross Award for his play Einstein’s Daughter.
It will now be performed by Preston actor Laura Hill-Leighs, who has recently toured the North in productions of Digging Deep and Extreme Withdrawal is Manifest.
Family will be at Korova tonight and Saturday.
