Sit Thi Deawn with the Weavers
Britain’s top comic folk band The Houghton Weavers take the stage in Morecambe this week.
Entertaining audiences for more than 39 years with their brand of family friendly anecdotes, jokes and music, the las appear at the Platform on Friday, February 13.
Formed in 1975 in Bolton, founder members David Littler (guitar, banjo, mandolin, banjo-ukulele, bouzouki, piano accordion and vocals) and Tony Berry (lead vocalist) are still on board, along with Steve Millington (bass guitar, keyboards, acoustic guitar, piano accordion and vocals) who joined in 1996.
