Robert Plant heading to Lancs

Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters will be embarking a UK tour in November with tickets are on sale this morning at 9am.

He plays Blackpool Tower Ballroom on the 26th,

Plant’s new album ‘lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar’ will be released on September 8.

Produced by Plant himself, the album features 11 new recordings, 9 of which are original songs written by Robert Plant with his band, The Sensational Space Shifters – Justin Adams: bendirs, djembe, guitars, tehardant, background vocals; John Baggott: keyboards, loops, moog bass, piano, tabal, background vocals; Juldeh Camara: kologo, ritti, Fulani vocals; Billy Fuller: bass, drum programming, omnichord, upright bass; Dave Smith: drum set; and Liam “Skin” Tyson: banjo, guitar, background vocals.

“It’s really a celebratory record, powerful, gritty, African, Trance meets Zep,” Plant says. The single, Rainbow, will be released this summer.
