Dig Doug? He and the band pay a Little visit
Lancashire’s leading rockabilly rebels Doug Perkins and the Spectaculars are coming to Chorley Little Theatre next month.
A four-piece band who take their inspiration from the pioneers of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Presley to Perkins, Cochran to Cash, the lads will set the venue shakin’ all over on Saturday, February 7.
Harking back to a time when the size of the turn ups on your jeans and how much grease you could pile in your hair determined your stature, they bring you a mixture of original material, authentic 50s covers and modern songs with a rockabilly vibe!.
In 2014 they stormed Chorley Live and performed for thousands at Preston’s Christmas Lights Switch-on.
