The April meeting of Preston and District U3A (The University of the Third Age) attracted record numbers to its new venue at St Cuthbert's Church Centre, Lytham Road, Fulwood, Preston.
All members especially the 18 new members who joined that afternoon, had time to meet the interest group leaders and decide which of the 12 group activities they wished to join e.g. walking, local history, scrabble, computers, creative writing etc.

Some members are keen to start three more groups i.e cycling, bridge and dogs but these will only begin when enough people show an interest in getting them started.

Our next meeting is on Thursday May 15 at 2pm at our new premises.
Admission £1.00.

All those who are retired or approaching retirement are welcome.
