Published Date: 29 September 2008
This month we opened our second season in our new venue at Preston Grasshoppers.
A fourth team has been entered in the Fylde Bridge League to give some of our newer members an opportunity to play for the club.

Captain of the new D team is Dave Parkin, a partially-sighted player who won our Best Bridge Student Award last season.

Dave relies on other members to take him to the Club from his home in Riverside Road, Penwortham.

Both his D Team and the A team got off to a winning start last week.

New members are always welcome. There is Bridge every week night from Beginners' and intermediate lessons to Duplicate Bridge for the more experienced.

Anyone interested in joining us for friendly bridge can call our secretary Wendy, 01772 338789.

League results and tables are on our website www.prestonbridgeclub.co.uk
