The meeting on Wednesday was a 'Theme Night' whereby members work, draw and paint on a chosen subject and there is a prize for the best painting.
This weeks theme was 'Bottles' and several members set up a small
still-life for painting.

Over 20 paintings were displayed and some excellent paintings were shown.

A competition followed to find the favourite painting and this was won
by Peter Maylor, 2nd was Dave Jaundrell and 3rd was Joan Taylor.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

There is a Summer Art Exhibition at Chorley Town Hall, June 27 and 28, 2008.

There is also a small exhibition at Yarrow Valley Visitors Centre for the whole of July.
