This month of June some of the members took a walk through the fields, over the stiles, meeting some of the residents, and then on to Balderstone Church and back by road to Mellor Brook.
The weather was kind to everyone and it was a very pleasant evening.
The leader was Carolyn Hymas who also won the raffle.

The group arrived back at the meeting place Mellor Brook Community Centre, where members had enjoyed a Quiz organised by Anne Royle, and everyone was greeted with a very welcome cup of tea and cake.

Parbold W I had invited the Balderstone members to Newburgh to the Flower Festival at Christ Church Newburgh in July and Sabden had invited them to Open Gardens also in July, another invitation was to Oswaldtwistle W I Strawberry Tea on the July 2 and two members were going to Knowle Green and Dutton W I on July 11.
