Ashton on Ribble's summer season is well on its way with lots to look forward to.
Carole our President will be hosting our annual barbeque at her home, a function all the ladies really enjoy. We are encouraged to take part in all the WI activities such as the Morecambe Bay Walk and a local walk on July 22nd.

Following our report on the most successful AGM in Liverpool our guest, Pat Hayward. who incidently has the most fabulous sense of humour, gave us a most enjoyable lecture on cooking with a microwave.

This most talented lady got everyone giggling about her dinner parties and recipes - it is such a gift for a person to be able to inject humour into what could have been a very mundane subject.

It is our excellent guests and enthusiasm that make Ashton on Ribble Women's Institute such a joy to attend.

Why dont you join us - phone me Norma on 723963 for further information.

We are a WI that meets the second Tuesday in the month at 1.15 pm.
We look forward to meeting you.
