Published Date: 19 January 2007
I had my first piano lesson in 1980, and my last in 1983. I saw my first real synthesiser in 1985 (Roland Juno 6) and started multitracking using multiple tape recorders. In 1987 I had my first go in a studio with a sequencer, and have never looked back....

...Since then I have learned much, in performance, technology and music appreciation. Currently I play keyboards for Tin Gods (see www.myspace.com/tingods), a five piece indie rock outfit based here in Lancashire, and work as writer/engineer/producer at the Buzzstation studio in Fleetwood, Lancashire (see www.soundclick.com/ray13. I also have a day job and am raising a son.

Big Wheel is my first solo project, started in January 2006 as more of a technical exercise than anything, but which has quickly developed into something I have become very fond of, and which, in places, oozes my self-expression in its purest form. Currently all the tracks are instrumental, and many will remain so, but one or two are earmarked for vocals and dance remixes, so watch this space for those, and for the rest of the tunes on my forthcoming demo album, entitled 'Rollin', which is ten tracks long at the moment, but will be twelve tracks when complete.
That's it. I hope you like the tunes, and I am open to anything anyone has to say to me about them so please drop me a line at theonlyrealdave@hotmail.co.uk and let me know what you think.

Cheers for your attention.

Dave
