Top tribute acts return to rock city

Fifteen thousand music lovers are set to descend on Moor Park this summer for the return of Rockprest.

The free two-day tribute festival is the biggest of its kind in the UK and will fetaure performances from the likes of Guns Or Roses, Fu Fighters, Reet Hot Chili Peppers and State of Quo.

Rockprest attendees will be able to choose between two music stages, chill-out in the many beer tents or VIP area, eat at several different food stalls or join in with the fun activities for the kids.

There will be two stages with events running on Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2.

Organiser Jools Taylor said: “Now in it’s third year, Rockprest becomes more and more popular and has become Preston’s must go to event.

“We are seeing people attend the festival from all corners of the country and hotel rooms in the city are being booked up well ahead of the event.

“We are extremely excited for this year’s festival and are expecting record numbers,

“All VIP tickets have been snapped-up in record time which is a huge indicator that all the tickets will go earlier this year, so we are advising people to get them now before they all go.”

Tickets can be found at www.rockprest.com, www.ticketline.co.uk, Action records in the city centre and are available from the Guild Box Office.

Tickets are free but are subject to a booking fee of £3.50.

All ages are welcome to attend, but all must have a wristband.

No tents, pop ups or structures allowedwill be allowed on site during the event.
