Lizzy to crown a new Miss Preston

The new Miss Preston is set to be crowned tomorrow with 28 young women vying for the crown.

The women will meet at Preston’s Playhouse Theatre as they rehearse for their big event including a four-outift catwalk.

Hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s Miss Preston and Miss England Lizzy Grant, the finalists have been put through confidence and self-esteem workshops.

And Mark Brown, Miss Preston’s regional organiser outlines what the judges will be looking for.

“Lizzy has done a fantastic job and there’s some very good contestants again this year so I’m sure it’ll be a close decision.”
