Police say they are “growing increasingly concerned” for a man who has been missing since yesterday.

Paul Lunt, 55, was last seen at around 11am yesterday at Royal Preston Hospital.

He was described as white, slim build, 5ft 7ins tall and of unkempt appearance.

He has short greying hair and was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.

He has a noticeable bruise under his left eye.

Police believe it is possible Paul is in the Preston area and he also has connections in Southport.

PC Lee Tickle, of Chorley police, said, “We are growing increasingly concerned about Paul as his disappearance is out of character.

“I would appeal to anyone who sees him or knows where he might be to get in touch with us.

“I’d also ask Paul himself to contact us if he sees this appeal to let us know he is okay.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number LC-20160520-0921.
