The latest trailer of Liam Neeson and Sigourney Weaver’s new film ‘A Monster Calls’ has been released, and Lancashire takes a lead role.

Cast and crew of the film ‘A Monster Calls’ descended on Preston in 2014 to film scenes for the movie which is set to be released in October this year.

A Monster Calls tells the story of a boy who seeks the help of a tree monster to cope with his single mom's terminal illness.

Lancashire seems to make a number of appearances throughout the trailer, with one scene unmistakably showing the boy and his mother riding the Fusion rollercoaster in Blackpool with the Big One in the background.
