Investigating officer PC Chris Banks said: “The vehicle was noticed missing this morning. We are currently checking CCTV in the area to see if it can help us with our investigation.”

Police say they want to find a push bike that was reported abandoned nearby but had been moved prior to their arrival.

PC Banks added: “We are currently trying to trace this as we believe it may be involved. A set of keys have been recovered and also a knife that was left hanging on a nearby resident’s garden fence in a carrier bag.
