Crews were called to the house on Rose Lane, Deepdale, Preston at 2.41am. Two fire engines and crews from Preston dealt with the kitchen fire using a hosereel jet to extinguish it. They then cleared smoke from the room with a fan. No-one was trapped inside and there were no casulaties.
