Councillor's reminder about two week road closure

Lancashire County councillor for South Ribble Rural West, Graham Gooch, send a message out on social media to say Chapel Lane, Longton, will be closed for roadworks from tomorrow Monday, March 13 until March 31.

The message was sent on social media site Neighbourhood, a private social network for your neighbourhood.

The message said: "Just a reminder that Chapel Lane Longton will be closed for roadworks from tomorrow (March 13) until March 31.

"Residents have all had a letter about access (I hope). Bus 12 will be diverted from New Longton via Walmer Bridge to Longton, and Preston bound service will be diverted via The Anchor."
