Police say they are “extremely concerned” for the welfare of a man who has disappeared from his home in Leyland.

Jack Broughton, 28, was last seen at his home address in Farington at around 8pm yesterday, Tuesday, May 31.

He is described as white, of slim build, around 6ft tall with shaved, brown hair.

He has a tattoo on the top of his right arm of a rose and a bird, with the word ‘bitter’. On the top of his left arm he has a tattoo of a bird and the word ‘sweet’. He also has a tattoo of a rose on his right arm.

When he disappeared police believe he was wearing black cargo trousers, a black, long-sleeve top, a grey Superdry jacket with orange trims and green, skater-style trainers.

Police also believe he is in the Leyland area, although he also has connections with Dorset and Cornwall.

PC Lee Tickle, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are extremely concerned about Jack as his disappearance is completely out of character.

“We are now appealing to anyone who sees Jack or knows where he might be to get in touch with us.
