VIDEO: Firefighters tackling huge blaze
Video footage has emerged of a huge fire at Farington Moss.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service have issued 11 seconds of footage showing crew battling the blaze at Whitfire Shavings Ltd in Church Lane, Farington Moss.
The video shows plumes of black smoke billowing from metal-clad warehouses and being tackled by high-rise aerial ladder platforms.
Roads in the area have been closed while 10 fire crews try to bring the flames under control.
