Search continues for boy missing for almost a week

Police are trying to trace a boy who has been missing from his home in Heysham for almost a week.

Jake Rayner, known as Jack, 15, was last seen in Lancaster City Centre at 3.15pm on Tuesday, October 25 after being dropped off to meet up with a friend.

He was due to be picked up outside Subway on North Road at around 6.30pm but did not turn up.

PC Matt Entwisle from Lancaster Police said: “We are concerned for Jack as it is now almost a week since he was last seen and we just want to get him home.

“He is thought to be in the company of a 15-year-old girl, possibly in Barrow, and so if you have seen them together or Jack on his own, or you have information about his whereabouts, please get in contact with us as soon as possible.”

Jack is described as white, 5ft 8ins, of slim build with dark brown curly hair. He was last seen wearing a grey zip-up hooded top, a white t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.
