The new £18m Mill Farm Sports Village currently taking shape in Wesham near Kirkham, is hiring for around 80 jobs.
The state of the art leisure, entertainment and sports venue has already received over 700 applications for key roles in security, sales, hospitality and maintenance.
Martin Drake, recruitment manager at Mill Farm, is keen to hear from “enthusiastic people” who would be interested in being a part of the new and dynamic venue, with both full and part time positions offered.
He added: “This development is game changing so we’re looking for the very best people to get involved.
“We’ve got a wide variety of roles available which will benefit local residents and those looking for work in the area.”
Set to open seven days a week, the site will boast a range of bars, restaurants and event facilities and will generate a high level of footfall to the Fylde Coast.
At the heart of the Mill Farm Sports Village will be a new 6,000 capacity stadium for AFC Fylde alongside state- of- the-art 5 and 7-a-side pitches, a full size hockey pitch together with a 3G football pitch, petrol station and various restaurants and bars. The development is due to launch this June.
Mill Farm owner David Haythornthwaite said: “The Mill Farm development will bring an unrivalled experience to the North West. We expect it will become a real hub for the local community.
“We’re looking for a team of talented and energetic people so that we can provide a high quality, first class service. If you think you fit the bill, I would encourage you to look in to our vacancies and apply.”
Meanwhile building work is progressing at the Wesham site with the bars in Bradley’s Sports Bar, being made ready open in time for the Euro 2016 tournament next month.
