Public join professionals for Romeo and Juliet in hall grounds
Twenty enthusiastic amateurs join the cast of Romeo and Juliet in an oudoor production next week.
Eccleston-based professional theatre company Say Two invited members of the public to take up the Shakespeare challenge, and following a crash course in classical text and acting with the cast, they will take to the stage alongside experienced players in some of the chorus scenes.
This traditional production is perfect for a family audience, with plenty of exhilarating sword fights, festive fireworks and dazzling dance numbers ... and not forgetting Shakespeare's magical language.
Say Two are once again returning to Heskin Hall, near Chorley, to perform in the stunning grounds tomorrow night (Sat, July 19).
Audiences are invited to bring chairs and picnics and to see this tremendous tragic tale of the two star-crossed lovers unfold.
