The young star of a popular ITV2 sitcom will perform stand-up in Lancaster this Saturday night (November 29).
Jo Enright who plays Angela in ‘The Job Lot’, will be taking part in the Laughing Cows Women Comedy Performers night at the city’s Gregson Centre.
Hosted by Lancaster’s very own Sheelagh Houlihan, the night also stars funny women Kerry Leigh and Lesley Kershaw.
Jo has also starred alongside Steve Coogan in I’m Alan Partridge and with Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights. Other recent comedy roles include BBC2 sitcom Lab Rats and playing Cara on BBC/HBO’s Life’s Too Short as Warwick Davis’ wife Sue.
Kerry Leigh has been making people laugh for over 10 years, during the Women in Comedy Festival 2013 both her solo shows sold out.
Laughing Cows is the longest running comedy club with an all female line-up in the UK, performing since 1998.
Doors open at 8pm. The show starts at 9pm. Tickets from the Gregson £10 in advance £15 on the door or from www.comixlive.co.uk
