Stand up star Frank Skinner is suited, booted and making his way to Preston for two nights at Preston’s Guild Hall this spring.
Star of Room 101 and Fantasy Football League Skinner is back in the city on April 4 and 5 this year, for the first time since November 2007 with his new show Man In A Suit.
Fresh from last year’s sold out London run the Preston shows are part of a 37 date nationwide tour.
The host of Room 101 (which returns for a new series at 8.30pm on January 24) is also a Sony Award winner for his Absolute Radio show.
With more than 600,000 listeners every Saturday morning and more than 13 million downloads as a podcast, making it commercial radio’s single most successful podcast.
Skinner shot to fame and critical acclaim in the early 1990s and was known for his acerbic, near-the-knuckle comedy.
He swiftly translated this into stunning commercial success along with fellow comic David Baddiel on Fantasy Football League, the BBC ratings hit which spawned spin off bestselling books, DVDs and, of course, the iconic chart-topping chant Three Lions.
In 2011 Frank revealed he was a practising Christian and accused atheists of threatening humanity. He went on to urge fellow believers to stand together against secularists.
