Tickets are still available to see the Lie-In King himself, Seann Walsh, at Chorley Little Theatre on Wednesday, September 24.
Walsh’s last show, The Lie-In King, was a 2013 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, and written as Seann was living alone and trying to sort out his life.
He returns with new show – 28 – (his age), now living with his girlfriend with the job of sorting out his life transferred to her.
He was also a Chortle Best Breakthrough Act Nominee 2010 and a Chortle Best Compere Nominee 2011.
Seann, right, has also starred in his own series, Seann Walsh World (Comedy Central), and is becoming a well-respected comedy actor, performing in Big Bad World (Comedy Central) and BBC1’s new series Monks.
He’ll be supported by Romesh Ranganathan, who made his debut in 2010.
He was a finalist in the Latitude New Act Competition 2010, The So You Think You’re Funny? Final 2010, as well as a runner-up in The Amused Moose Laugh Off 2010. He’s supported one of his comedy heroes Ricky Gervais, and had a critically acclaimed Edinburgh Festival debut, being nominated for the coveted Best Newcomer Award 2013.
Since then, he’s made a debut appearance on BBC2’s Mock The Week, BBC1’s Live At The Apollo, BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live 2013, and has a regular slot on Channel 4’s weekly topical show Stand Up For The Week.
