A brand new play about the race for DNA comes to Preston’s Korova Arts Café and Bar later this week.
‘An Extraordinary Light’ explores the life and work of scientist Rosalind Franklin who helped discover the structure of DNA, right, but was forgotten by history, while her male colleagues went on to win a Nobel prize.
It is written by Rob Johnston whose work has been produced at Preston Tringe, including in 2012 in the Spiegeltent as part of Preston Guild 2012, at The Continental, and across the UK.
The Korova show is an opportunity for Preston theatregoers to see this new production prior to its Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows in August.
Friday and Saturday April 11 and 12 from 8pm, tickets £5. Call Rob on 07957 760 028 for further information.
