A round-up of events at Preston's Guild Hall and Charter Theatre, and The Lowry in Salford:

After selling out their UK tour last year, American rockers Wheatus are back in the UK and play Preston Guild Hall’s LiVe venue tonight (Friday, May 5).

The outfit from Northport, New York, formed in 1995 and are best known for their 2000 single Teenage Dirtbag, which also charted again 10 years later.

Frontman, producer and songwriter Brendan Brown says they do indeed still love playing their multi-platinum, ubiquitous classic.

With a new line-up, they continually hit the road throughout the US and UK, including the sold out UK Get Happy Tour.
