The 11-year-old Worden Academy pupil has got a Saturday job with a difference, busking outside a milk bar in Chorley.
Millie-Mae has made it through to the National Grand Final of the singing competition Teen Star.
She took part in auditions alongside more than 20,000 other unsigned artists from all over the a UK and impressed the Teen Star judging panel with her variety of singing.
Millie-Mae has battled through both the regional and the area finals to secure her place in the Grand Final at Birmingham NEC in July, for her chance to be crowned the winner of Teenstar UK 2015 and £5,000 towards developing and management.
Mum Jo, of Leadale Road, in Leyland, said the youngster will be up against a whole host of singers and added: “ The final is in Birmingham and tickets cost are £20 each so it is expensive for her friends to have to pay out to go and see her.
She will be there most Saturdays and is hoping people will be supportive as it is a big deal to her
“So, she has decided to do something to help and Bubble and Shake milkshake shop in Chorley have said she can busk outside there.
“She will be there most Saturdays and is hoping people will be supportive as it is a big deal to her. She wants to try and raise enough funds for a minibus to get friends and supporters there”
Millie-Mae is no stranger to the stage.
She has been singing since she was a youngster and has performed before crowds at various live events such as Leyland Live, Longton Live, Penwortham Live and Chorley Live and also uses her musical talent to raise money for local charities.
Last Christmas the songstress branched out into the worked of make-believe. She transformed herself into a whole host of Disney characters to create special Princess Parties for little girls.
Jo said: “Millie dresses up as the princesses and does 30 minutes of live vocals, then there’s a photo opportunity for the children afterwards, as well as goody bags to take home.”
The proud mum added that the grand final of the competition take place on July 25 and is hoping for plenty of support.
