Acid Jazz, funk and soul will be on the menu at Preston’s New Continental Saturday night with the return of Tripitaka.

Chris Jones on trombone, Phil Rutter on trumpet, Aaron Siggs on tenor sax are the bad-ass horn section powering the band, with Mik Billington on funky rhythm guitar and Shaun Fortune on bass, pulling the strings. Jonathan Mitchell keeps up the beat and Ian Cross tickles keys to form the backbone of the band’s magical sound, and lead vocalist Miss Jade Bianca Williams pours sugar and spice over the whole thing with one of the finest sets of pipes seen at The Continental so far. Tripitaka, not to be missed. DJ support will provide pre- and post-show soundtrack.
