Preston’s premier monsters of metal Evil Blizzard turn up the volume at lep.co.uk with the video for their fantastic festive single ‘Nothing For Christmas’.
The masked bass beasts will crown a great 2014 tomorrow night with a sold out hometown gig at the Blitz nightclub.
This has been a landmark year for the Blizzard, who have gained national exposure and supported the likes of Killing Joke, Hawkwind, The Ruts DC and Sleaford Mods.
In keeping with the season of goodwill, the band will be handing £1 from every ticket to Preston’s Fox Street homeless shelter.
They will also be collecting on the night for the Mad Dogs Street Project, helping the homeless in Manchester.
A spokesman for the band said: “Do a little bit more by bringing down any old sleeping bags or warm clothes for collection on the night.”
This looks likely to be the last local show for sometime, as the band will be gigging more out of town and in Europe. A new album will be recorded early in the new year.
The CD single Nothing For Christmas is available now at Action Records and also from louderthanwar.com/
