This has been an incredible year for James, 24, starting with his triumph in the Fylde’s Got Talent contest this April.

The win earned him a spot at The Last Night of the Lytham Proms where he impressed once more, and earlier this month he signed a deal with Martin Artist Management of New York.

James has already played his US debut at New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall and the year ahead looks likely to be an exciting one. For more on this rising star see www.facebook.com/JamesEdgar

By December 24, lep.co.uk aims to deliver a digital advent calendar of song, with musical treats online every day.

From choirs to brass bands, buskers to panto stars, indie to folk and beyond, singers and musicians of all ages and styles are taking part – but that is only half the story.

We want YOU involved too. Film yourself singing solo, with friends, family, workmates, strumming your guitar, tooting your flute, banging your drum, and helping create a unique online musical event.
