A Preston singer is launching his new single The Skin I’m In at the Continental’s Snug Room on Friday night.
After receiving airplay of his last song, Woodsmoke, on Dermot O’Leary’s Radio 2 show, singer/songwriter David Shurr releases the single on Monday, complete with a music video produced by himself and an international film student, Victoria Vrublevska, who is studying at UCLan.
The song, The Skin I’m In, will be available for free download on http://davidshurr.com, with an option for additional donation, as well as on all major digital retailers (iTunes, Amazon, etc).
Any money generated from the release will be donated to the Life Association, a cause working to benefit many less fortunate communities across India.
The free-entry show at the South Meadow Lane venue will feature acoustic performances from both David Shurr and another local musician, Olly Taylor, as well as an exclusive, pre-release screening of the new music video. Also available will be physical copies of the song, again with proceeds heading towards the Life Association.
