When pop superstar Justin Bieber and his entourage were hit by a serious case of the munchies after a night on the town in Manchester, they didn’t have to queue up in a backstreet takeaway.
Instead, they turned to room service at the swanky city centre five-star Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel and feasted on burgers, steaks, chips and desserts.
An insider revealed that they ordered FORTY items of room service – setting them back about £500. And they must have been in the mood to carry on the party as they also bought three bottles of vodka. They hired out the 14th floor of the hotel on Peter Street for the superstar’s two nights at the Manchester Arena. The insider said: “They came back to the hotel at about 3am – they’d been out at Sakura all night earlier so obviously were feeling hungry. They seemed to have pretty ordinary tastes, asking for steaks, burgers, chips and desserts.”
Not everyone in Manchester greeted the Bieber crew so enthusiastically. Ancoats nightclub Sankeys tweeted that door staff had turned the 18-year-old away earlier in the night.
They tweeted: “Yes the rumours are true, we turned Justin Bieber away. He shuffles on stage and we can’t be having that in Sankeys now can we!”
