Santas at the ready for hospice run.
Dozens of fit Father Christmases took to the streets of Lostock Hall for a two-mile run in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.
For the first time, the fund-raising annual Santa Dash, which started at 1.30pm on Saturday, set off and finished in the hospice grounds, off Lostock Lane. Little ones also got in on the action, with their own half-mile Rudolph Rumble around the grounds, decked out in festive antlers and red noses.
The events were part of the hospice’s Christmas Festival, which featured an ice rink, Santa’s grotto, stalls, food market, rides, games and entertainment.
