The North West Film archive is set to set memories stirring as it returns to a Lancashire venue.
Lancashire on Film will feature memories of Morecambe, Lancaster and the surrounding area on a cinematic journey of footage from 1914-1978 at The Dukes, Lancaster on February 12.
Presented by members of staff from the North West Film Archive ,the oldest film shows Morecambe Volunteers as they prepare to go to war in 1914 alongside films showing the crowning of Morecambe’s carnival queen in 1934, the delights of holidaying on the Lancashire coast in 1955 and the opening of the Preston and Lancaster motorways - in 1959.
Tickets are priced £5.50(£4.50 concessions) and booking is advised..
